About the Project
As the music industry has moved into more of a digital space when it comes to both creating and listening to music, people have begun looking for and implementing tools to help them produce their own music in a more efficient way. The tools that are used by many musicians now have become more accessible to both hobbyists and professionals.
The need for expensive studio equipment is not as much of a necessity as it was before. Musicians have begun to create their own home studio setups using digital software and instruments to use in their DAW (Digital Audio Workstations). There has been a growing demand for virtual instruments and unique music packs that contain interesting sounds that can be manipulated and used to produce music in small studio setups at home.
Loopkit is a website that caters to music producers, musicians, and listeners to collaborate and share their ideas, it aims to solve the problem of musicians not finding other people to work with while also providing a space where they can sell their own music packs and share their music while also providing feedback to each other’s work. Loopkit provides a community space for music enthusiasts of all kinds.
