I view Graphic Design as a tool of communication. I enjoy not only the visual aspect of it, but also the research behind making informed design decisions to serve its purpose in the best way possible. I would describe my personal style as clean and dynamic, but I also love to push my boundaries and venture into other styles. I am also interested in copywriting and photography, and therefore love when I can utilize these in my work.

Some other things about me: I love to cook, the beach is my favorite place to be, and I am 100% Polish!

Karisma Photography Studio

About the Project
For my project, I have created a photography studio company that integrates graphic design elements with portrait photography to create one of a kind portraits that represent the person being photographed. My project makes the photography experience an interactive one, and through getting to know the subject in order to be able to portray them. I developed a questionnaire which I had each person fill out, and will talked to them to get to know them and find a sense for their personality and what kind of things they like. After taking their portrait, I editted it based on their personality, adding graphic design elements, to create a unique poster for each individual. In order to accomplish this, I have used various techniques to express personality. Colors, shapes, collaging, typography, words, other images, composition, values, patterns, textures, can all be used together to convey a mood and personality. The overall main goal is to create a fun and interactive photography experience that leaves you with a beautiful personalized portrait.
